Put Clean Energy at the Top of Our Nation's Agenda!

Are you still questioning the seriousness of global climate change?  Do you think that there's nothing an individual can do? If you answered yes to either of these, come join us to educate yourself on the issues, the facts, the reality of our fragile planet's dilemma. On February 5th, 2009, members of our community will come together to present thoughts, raise awareness of our impact on the planet, and to discuss what we can do to change the potentially catastrophic course upon which we now travel.

Lectures will be presented by professors, fellow students, government officials and community leaders from a vast array of disciplines. Each short lecture series will be followed by a question and answer session.

By joining us on February 5th, 2009, you will become part of a community of millions of Americans on campuses and other institutions throughout the country, all with the common belief that the individual can, and must, be the difference.

Last year the largest national teach-in in the history of the United States occurred to address climate change.  By joining together we can make the 2009 National Teach-In even bigger with a collective voice so large that our leaders will have no choice but to listen!

This is..."a defining moment for America, and the future course of life on earth. Immediately following the inauguration of the new administration, and in the first 100 days of the new Congress, the US government will either initiate the action needed to stop global warming—or else a window will close for our children, forever." -from NationalTeachIn.org
